Atman Consulting provides tailored consulting services and software technologies to the petroleum industry. Our primary goal is to help companies increase operational efficiencies through information system improvements. We accomplish this goal by conducting assessments of our clients’ existing business processes and software applications. By comparing the results of our evaluations against our clients’ strategic objectives and budgetary guidelines, we are able to recommend and implement practical and cost-effective solutions.

Executive Bio

Mark Hollier

I am a consultant with over 16 years experience and have a MS in Physics from the University of Utah. I have a wide range of technical and interpersonal skills specializing in the architecture, design, and evaluation of Exploration & Production IT systems. An expert in systems integration techniques to advise and assist practice technicians in architecting and developing solutions. I am also a PMP-certified project manager.

Greg Giering

I  began writing software in the early 1980’s and have a BS in Physics from LSU and an MS in Physics from Louisiana Tech University.  I worked in the environmental field for 9 years, as a plant chemist and environmental coordinator for 3 more and as a college professor for 7 years.   With my experience in software development and testing as well as my many years of teaching, environmental work and physics background I use my various skills to assist in the planning, development and implementation of projects.  Knowledge of Visual Studios, SQL, MS applications and various XML development and testing tools helps me contribute to our software development projects in a myriad of ways.  I enjoy the challenges of solving problems that arise with the creation of new projects and look forward to meeting those challenges through the application of thought and hard work.
